WILKINSBURG, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Allegheny County Police have made an arrest in connection with a homicide in Wilkinsburg on Sunday.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to the intersection of Ardmore Boulevard and Marlboro Avenue around 11:45 a.m. and found a 27-year-old victim shot in the head.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he died.
Detectives learned that a silver green midsize sedan pulled up to the victim at the intersection and shots were fired hitting the man.
The suspect fled from the scene in the car.
On Monday, detectives located a Nissan Altima in Hawkins Village in Rankin that was suspected of being the vehicle involved in the homicide.
Police noticed 23-year-old Jordan Cobb who was wanted on probation violations.
Cobb fled the scene and entered an apartment complex where he was apprehended inside.
An investigation is ongoing.
