PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - PPG Paints Arena is a popular place to be.
According to a new report, the home of the Pittsburgh Penguins is the eight in the U.S. and 16th in the world when it comes to ticket sales.
The recent figures released by Pollstar looked at ticket sales from November 22, 2018 through August 21, 2019.
Pollstar say "data is drawn from gross tickets sales for all live touring events (concerts, comedy shows, kids' shows) and does not include sporting events."
"We're all very fortunate to have a great arena in a great city, which makes this kind of success possible," said Gary Desjardins, general manager of PPG Paints Arena for ASM Global. "The promoters and touring acts love the building and love the city, and I can't say enough about our staff and the job they do here every day."
