HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman was the first elected official to officiate a same-sex marriage while mayor of Braddock in 2013.

Over the weekend Fetterman and his family marched in the Pittsburgh Pride parade and on Monday he announced for the first time ever the pride flag and Trans flag is flying over the state Capitol.

“My office balcony is in the center of the Capitol, right down State Street and we are flying the Philly pride flag and trans flag for the first time ever here in Harrisburg,” said Fetterman.
