PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) –Demonstrators gathered in Mount Lebanon Monday afternoon calling for an end to the impeachment inquiry with counter-protestors on hand as well

Supporters and detractors of President Donald Trump met on Washington Road in front of Congressman Conor Lamb's office.

Some in the crowd were there to support Rep. Lamb, others supporting the impeachment process while some showed support for President Trump.

Trump supporters waved "Trump 2020" flags.

People in cars honked as they passed, the only trouble is you didn't know who they are honking for.

Supporters for Lamb and the impeachment process say he is being maligned by Republicans.

One Mt. Lebanon resident Kristin Wessell was at the protest and  also helped to organize it.

"We just wanted to say no, we're out here to support the process and the roll that (Lamb's) taken in it."

Republican's like Charles Jones of Heidelberg want Lamb to vote against impeachment.

"Well I believe we have a country to save and a president to save," said Jones.

Lamb is being challenged by Army veteran Sean Parnell in 2020.
