PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - 76 residents were evacuated from the Oakmont Nursing and Rehab Center this afternoon.
A statement from Allegheny County Emergency Services Chief Matt Brown says maintenance employees poured a drain cleaner into a clogged sink, causing fumes.
Until they found the source, a decision was made to get the residents out.
Port Authority had two buses on scene to provide temporary shelter until the center is aired out.
