PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Port Authority will run a formerly retired bus route on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate public transit in Allegheny County.
The 96A-Golden Triangle bus route will be free for riders to commemorate the retirement of the last two buses manufactured by Neoplan USA that are still used by the Port Authority.
Neoplan buses have been used by the Port Authority since 1982
Riders can take a trip every 45 minutes from 9 a.m. and 8:15 p.m.
The buses will depart from the East Busway - Penn Station Stop C and will travel in a loop throughout Downtown Pittsburgh with 13 stops.
