PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A retired Pittsburgh Police K-9, named Ari has passed away according to the Pittsburgh Police K-9 Unit Facebook Page.
Ari served the city of Pittsburgh from May 2014 to September 2018.
Ari had been spending his retirement with his handler and Pittsburgh Police Sergeant Logan Hanley.
Ari passed on October 7. He was 6 years old.
