PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Business resumes at The Rivers Casino on Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m.
There will be plenty of precautions and social distancing in place. There are also over 100 sanitizing stations - so patrons will be able to clean the machines and other games.
The casino also cleaned every chip in the building.
“Some people like to take their chips home, so we’re just asking that they go to the cage and exchange them for clean chips,” said Assistant GM at Rivers Casino, Bud Green, during an interview with the KDKA Radio Morning Show on Monday.
When it comes to card games, there will be hand sanitizer at every table; when someone sits down, they will be instructed to sanitize their hands.
All team members will be wearing a mask or face shield, and every person who enters the casino will be asked to wear a mask.
There will be no valet parking, the poker room will be closed, and the food buffet will not be open yet.
Despite some of the unavailable amenities, “we feel that it’s going to be very busy tomorrow, to say the least,” Green explains.
