PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — The second egg in the Hays bald eagle nest has hatched, just two days after tghe first eaglet of the season emerged.
It happened around 6:40 Monday morning, the first hatched on Saturday.
The couple is in its eighth year of nesting in the same spot near the Glenwood Bridge over the Monongahela River.
