CHAMPION, Pa. (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Seven Springs has snow and are officially ready for ski/snowboarding season.
The mountain resort in Champion, PA will open its slopes this weekend.
Nearby Hidden Valley will also be opening this weekend.
Slopes will be open from 9 a.m. though 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at both locations
Crews have been working since November 8 to produce snow for the slopes and have new piping to thank for it.
The snow makers are "powered up this year with the help of nearly 5,000 feet of brand new 20” FBE piping, stretching from Lake Tahoe all the way to the bottom of Village Trail," a statement on Seven Spring's website said.
Seven Springs Opening Weekend ski and snowboard tickets are $52 per adult and $42 per child ages 6-11. Hidden Valley Opening Weekend ski and snowboard tickets are $34 per adult and $27 per child ages 6-11.
