PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - After covering the Steelers with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for over 30 years, Ed Bouchette has left the newspaper to join The Athletic.
An online sporting news platform, The Athletic has been around for three years and covers every major sport.
"It expanded so fast because people liked it so much. Its subscription based and very inexpensive," said Senior Writer, Ed Bouchette, during an interview with KDKA Radio on Tuesday.
Don't worry, the hall of fame writer will still be covering the Steelers.
"I will be writing off games, but it will be a different perspective; there will be more analysis, more getting in to why something happened," Bouchette explains.
