
BRIDGEVILLE (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Chartiers Valley High School and Middle School students were sent home Wednesday morning as police investigated a possible bomb threat.
Scott Township Police and K-9 officers were at the Bridgeville campus investigating and message was sent to parents in the district.
Buildings there are on lockout. No one was allowed to enter campus buildings related to the police concerns. Classes were continuing you be held
Bethel Park High School was also closed Wednesday due to a sprinkler malfunction. The resulting leak affected five classrooms and the library.
The district anticipates Bethel Park High School will be open Thursday.
