HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Westmoreland County has its first cases of COVID-19.

The Pennsylvania State Health Department made the announcement Thursday afternoon that Westmoreland has two confirmed cases of the coronavirus.


There were 52 new confirmed positive cases reported statewide by the health department.

That brings the statewide total to 185, a 39 percent increase over Wednesday's numbers.

Locally there are now 18 cases in Allegheny County, two in Beaver and three in Washington.
