HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Wolf administration is asking the state Supreme Court to extend the deadline for mail-in ballots in the November general election.

The justices are being asked to order ballots postmarked by Election Day be counted if they are valid and received during the three days following the election.

The filing cites a letter from the Postal Service warning the state's deadline for mail-in ballots is "incongruous" with its delivery standards
