You know… it hit me this weekend. I live in a hot, stinky, disgusting mess. Five sons, a husband and a male dog will do that to you. But after I grabbed my phone and hit record, the reality of how awesome life is settled in. As frustrated as I often feel, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
So, to all you stressed out parents. I feel you. I hear you. I share in your frustration. But some day all too soon, our houses will be quiet. We’ll return home from running errands to find every room exactly the way we left them. There will be no one left to cook and clean for, no one to nag, nobody to shush for being too loud.
Come to think of it… I’ll take the mess and the noise just fine.
