The folks behind Yinzer Cards have created a “Yinzer Elf on a Shelf.”

Pittsburgh Yinzer Greetings creators Jim Krenn, KDKA Radio’s Larry Richer and cartoonist Bob Rogers created the elf decked out in black and gold, sporting a mullet and has a terrible towel in one hand.

The “scout elf” sits around and monitors a child’s behavior be during the holidays, then reports back to Santa every night at the North Pole before returning home.

“It is no secret that we all love this city,” Krenn said. “If you are looking for a gift for a Pittsburgher, why not pick up a Pittsburgh inspired gift that is sure to wow them?"

In addition to the 11-inch doll poking fun at the original Elf on a Shelf, The group has two Yinzer Elf cards available for Christmas.

The gifts are available at Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagles and Market Districts, Laurie’s Hallmark and Grandpa Joe’s stores, Riverstone Books, Yinzers in The Burgh and Ambridge Do-it-Best Home Center.

Proceeds from the sales go toward non-profits like Animal Friends and Spenser’s Voice Fund.
