Actor Steve Carell’s character in “The Office” may have spent his fictitious career in Scranton, PA, but the man himself loves Pittsburgh.
Speaking on a recent episode of the podcast “Office Ladies” with Angela Kinsey, who played Angela and Jenna Fischer who played Pam on the show. Carell was asked about his favorite city that he’s visited in the U.S.
“Pittsburgh was pretty cool,” said Carell, adding “I’m not saying that ironically either.”
Carell added that he has filmed some movies in town. Most notably “Foxcatcher” and “Last Flag Flying”.
“And I liked it, it’s a cool city,” added Carell before saying “shout out to Pittsburgh.”
