Sure, Pittsburgh has its issues sure, but when someone from out of town, allegedly, bashes your hometown, you don’t stand for it.
Tom Sandoval, who is known for his role on the reality TV show Vanderpump Rules, was on a flight to Pittsburgh and reportedly was overheard by another passenger saying “f***ing Pittsburgh” in a not so flattering way.
Sandoval denies saying it.
Sandoval was in town with his band “Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras” playing at Jergel’s Rhythm Grill during a concert Monday when a fan was seen holding up a sign supporting his ex-girlfriend Ariana Madix.
Pittsburgh City Councilman Anthony Coghill was even contacted by TMZ to get his thoughts on Sandoval’s comments.
“Whether he’s ever been to Pittsburgh or not, I don’t even know . . . but anybody who has anything disparaging to say, I take offense to, because I’m born and bred here in Pittsburgh, I love this town,” Coghill told KDKA Radio.
While Coghill doesn’t know if Sandoval said it or not, he says he talked to his publicist and that the reality star was not happy with upsetting public officials.
Coghill says he’d be happy to show Sandoval around Pittsburgh if he ever wants to come back.
The city also has antiquated fire trucks and Coghill, with a smile on his face, told Sandoval’s publicist all is forgiven if he wouldn’t mind paying for a new truck, around $1.2 million
Pittsburgh officials aren’t the only ones upset with the reality star.
Sandoval reportedly cheated on Madix and is now dating Raquel Leviss, but there have been rumors their relationship is on the rocks, though it appears from a photo, provided to TMZ, he said “f***ing Pittsburgh” to Leviss.
Sandoval has denies saying anything negative, telling TMZ “The show we played in Pittsburgh was sold out and the people were incredible."
