According to TMZ, online jail records reveal the 27-year-old was booked on an obstruction of investigation charge and his mugshot has been making the Internet rounds.
After being released the same day on bond, the “Something in the Orange” singer made a statement regarding the arrest admitting he acted “out of line” towards law enforcement.
“Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol,” he shared on social media accounts. “Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said.”
He continued, “I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.”
The incident comes nearly two weeks after the release of Bryan’s fourth studio, self-titled album, which released August 25 and has already topped Billboard charts. The project is a follow up to his 2022 album, American Heartbreak, which put him on the map for several Country music fans with his song, “Something in The Orange.”
Additionally, he revealed plans to hit the road in 2024 with a North American tour, The Quittin Time Tour. General ticket sales begin today and you can find them here.
