PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The City of Pittsburgh has announced the results of their Christmas tree collection.
A total of 3,255 trees were recycled.
That is a 59 percent increase comparted to the 2050 trees collected last year.
The trees will be turned into 36.8 tons of mulch that will be given to city residents.
The much will be made available to the public in the spring.
