Dollar Bank in Dormont Robbed, Police Search for Suspect

Allegheny County police are searching for a bank robbery suspect.
Police say that the Dollar Bank on West Liberty Avenue in Dormaont was robbed around 6:40pm on Friday evening when the suspect reportedly handed a teller a note stating that he had a bomb and demanded cash.
The suspect is a white male. He was wearing dark clothes, a brown wig and a brown floppy hat at the time of the robbery. He's approximately 5'8" tall with a thin build. Photos show he was also carrying a bag slung his shoulder.
The teller gave the man an unknown amount of money. Police say the man then fled on foot headed west on Texas Avenue.
