Hundreds of gun advocates descended upon the City-County Building in Downtown Pittsburgh Monday to protest legislation proposed by City Council and supported by Mayor Bill Peduto that would ban semi-automatic weapons as well as certain types of ammunition and taking firearms away from someone who is considered an "extreme risk".
