Pittsburgh Zoo's Clouded Leopards Get Names
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium announced the names of their clouded leopard cubs.
The names Gale and Lynn were picked by the daughter of a longtime zoo volunteer, Gail Noden
“In honor of my mother, who loved the Zoo and volunteered as a Zoo docent for 40 years, I am thrilled at the opportunity to keep her Zoo legacy alive through the cubs,” says Tamara Golden, Ms. Noden’s daughter.
The zoo says the eight-week old cubs are “healthy, growing and curious about everything. They love to wrestle and play with eachother.”
Vistiors to the zoo can see Gale and Lynn at The Island in their dayroom.
When the weather starts to get warmer the cubs will be introduced to the outside yard.
