Shaler's Chief Of Police Retires After 35 Years

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - 35 years to the date he started, Shaler’s Chief of Police is retiring.
Chief Bryan Kelly started as a Patrol Officer on February 21, 1985 and rose through the ranks becoming a Sergeant, Lieutenant and ultimately the Chief of Police.
In a post on Facebook the Department wrote, “Chief Kelly has led our department with distinction and been the definition of a leader; humble, fair, selfless, inspirational, and set high standards for his department in the service of our community.
Chief Kelly’s guidance will be missed, but he has left this department in capable hands to serve and protect into the future.”
