Retired Pittsburgh K9 Officer Sonic Passes Away

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A retired Pittsburgh Police K9 officer has passed away.

The Pittsburgh Police K9 Unit announced on Tuesday that officer Sonic had died.

He was 9-years-old.

Sonic served from January 2012 through March 2018.

Officer sonic spent his retirement with his handler, retired Pittsburgh Police Officer Tim Crane.
