The 21st annual Moraine State Park Regatta in Butler County is going on as scheduled this weekend.
The free event is Saturday and Sunday on Lake Arthur and includes live music, a car cruise, sailing races and plenty of fun and educational activities for kids.
“One of the Regatta’s most unique features is SummersCool presented by L.L.Bean. Attendees will have the opportunity to try new activities on the lake including sailing, kayaking and standup paddleboarding for free with the assistance of local outfitters and experts. They can also stop by the L.L.Bean Base Camp for scavenger hunts, crafts, guided hikes and campfire cooking demonstrations.”
The event has attracted almost 20,000 people in past year and with the Pittsburgh Regatta being canceled, officials expect and are ready for bigger crowds this year.
In addition, if you’re looking for a job there will be a Workforce Development Tent on site
