PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) The Allegheny County Health Department has added 1,020 new cases of COVID-19, and 41 deaths within the region.
Since the first positive test in mid-March, Allegheny County has had 52,473 past or present cases of COVID-19.
The 41 new deaths as a result of coronavirus brings the county death toll to 898.
To date, there has been 3,121 patients hospitalized from the virus.
Of the 52,473 cases in Allegheny County, 21% have been from the age range 20-29.
