The Audacy Pittsburgh family was recognized Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.
NewsRadio KDKA, 100.7 Star 100.7 and 93.7 The Fan took home 2022 Awards of Excellence for outstanding coverage of local events throughout 2021.
KDKA's high school football coverage of the PIAA 5A State championship game between Penn-Trafford and Imhotep Charter took home the Outstanding Use of Digital Media award.
KiKi Brown, the host of "What's Good In Your Hood," won the Judge's Merit award for her series that spoke with Sean Gibson, the founder of the Josh Gibson Foundation.
100.7 Star's philanthropic endeavors was highlighted by the PAB when its 100.7 Star & Shults Ford Turkeython won for Outstanding Radio Public Service Announcement/Campaign.
93.7 The Fan won the Outstanding radio Coverage of a Local Sporting Event honor for our coverage of Ben Roethlisberger's final home game at Heinz Field.
