Giant Eagle is preparing to hire 600 new team members in the Pittsburgh area just in time for the holiday season.
The company is also planning to hold socially distant hiring events from Nov. 9-13.
"Supermarket workers continue to play a vital role in serving our communities, and as holiday preparations begin, Giant Eagle is looking to fill 600 permanent full and part-time positions across the company's Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle and Market District supermarkets," a release from the company stated.
The hiring events will be held at 28 Pittsburgh area locations from 1-6 p.m.

While at the event, candidates will meet with recruiters and could receive same day job offers.
