One person is dead after a late-night shooting in a Downtown trouble spot near Strawberry Way.
Pittsburgh Police, who were close to the scene, rushed to Smithfield Street near 6th street around 10:35 Thursday night after hearing shots fired in that area.
There they found three victims, all adults, with gunshot wounds, one man was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead.
He's been identified as 23-year-old Lonnie Latham III.
One female was shot in the foot in stable condition and a man was also shot in the foot, he is in stable condition.
Police say two people were detained for questioning, they're unsure if there were one or two people responsible for the shooting.
