Eight children and three adults were taken to a hospital with minor injuries following a wrong-way crash late last night on Route 28.
The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. near the Millvale exit in Shaler Township when a car was traveling outbound in the inbound lanes.
The inbound side was closed for about two hours. Two vehicles were involved, but Shaler Township police say neither driver showed signs of impairment.
Charges are pending against the wrong-way driver.
