The Allegheny County Health Department says there were 17 new COVID-19 related deaths reported on Wednesday.
In addition, there have been 186 new cases of the virus in the last 24 hours.
Of those new cases, 105 are confirmed.
The dates of the deaths range from November 23, 2020 to February 27, 2021. One death occurred in November, one in December. The rest happened in February of this year.
The county has had a total of 77,239 new COVID-19 cases since March of 2020. There have also been 5,131 hospitalizations and 1,686 deaths.
