An investigation was opened Thursday after a 2-year-old child was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Since being taken to the hospital, it has been reported that the Munhall child has died.
The cause of death has not been released, but Allegheny County homicide detectives are investigating the situation.
First responders arrived at 1400 block of Margaret Street just before 1:30 a.m. and found the 2-year-old unresponsive.
