The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the second victim that died in Monday’s blast at Clairton Coke Works.
52-year-old Steven Menefee was the other man that died after an apparent explosion at the U.S. Steel facility.
39-year-old Timothy Quinn was identified earlier this week as the first victim. He was a single father of three daughters.
10 other people were hospitalized following the accident with five of those released by Tuesday morning.
The cause of the explosion is now under investigation with U.S. Steel’s CEO and Governor Josh Shapiro says they will get to the bottom of the tragedy.
A GoFundMe, started by the local Steelworkers union, is accepting donations.
All funds raised will be split evenly to the surviving victims, their families and the loved ones of Quinn and Menefee.
