UPDATE: Police have found the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run and say charges are forthcoming.
A 4-year-old boy was injured Thursday afternoon in a hit and run incident in the Hill District.
The boy was struck around 4 p.m. in the 2600 block of Webster Avenue.
He was taken to a hospital in serious condition going in and out of consciousness, but was later upgraded to stable condition.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says a parent was with the children when the collision took place.
Police are reviewing security video to track the driver down.
Neighbors say they've been asking the city for more than a year to install speed bumps where the boy was hit.
