Police in Arnold say an 8-year-old girl fell out of an SUV when a woman led officers on a chase.
It all began with a call for police to respond to a domestic fight on Leishman Avenue and Drey Street Saturday.
Police found Amanda Shaw, who they knew had a suspended license related to a DUI, behind the wheel of an SUV.
That's when she allegedly drove around a police cruiser and sped off.
When she tried making a sharp turn, the little girl fell out of the passenger side front window.
But police say Shaw didn't stop until she reached her backyard, where she then tried running away, until they caught up to her and made an arrest.
They say she appeared to be drunk.
She's now facing several charges. No word on the child's condition.
