Dr. Brian Lamb, an internal medicine specialist for Allegheny Health Network is seeing a doctor remotely, due to emergency rooms getting more crowded.

“There’s just not enough staff.  Everyone is working to their tip-top level, but it’s not enough,” said Dr. Lamb. “They actually have the ability to help triage you. They can talk to you about your symptoms and talk to you about what’s going on. They can even help get you to the appropriate level of care.”

Dr. Lamb told the NewsRadio KDKA Morning Show that it is a way to expedite your care from the comfort of your own home, 24 hours a day.

AHN’s new hotline is 412 NURSE-4-U.
