All 92,000 UPMC Employees are getting a $500 bonus check this month.
Chief Human Resources Officer John Galley made the announcement Tuesday Morning with Marty Griffin on KDKA Radio.
"Over the last 20 months through the pandemic, our employees who are the best in business have risen to meet every challenge they've faced," said Galley.
The $50 million in bonuses is part of a $300 million package which includes no increases for health care coverage in 2022.
UPMC is also offering health reimbursement accounts for workers making salaries less than 37,500 a year.
