Arrest made in death of 1-year-old boy

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Allegheny County police have made an arrest in the death a 1-year-old boy.

Baldwin Police responded to a home on Oakleaf drive after a 911 call for the baby not breathing.

First responders were unable to save the child and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Allegheny County detectives found numerous drugs, including Heroin, Fentanyl, Cocaine and Marijuana near the victim.

They determined that the parents were responsible for the child's death.

On Thursday, 45-year-old Thomas Snelsire and 45-year-old Tracy Humphreys turned themselves into police and they were arrested.

Both now face Criminal Homicide, Endangering the Welfare of Children and drug-related charges.
