The rapidly developing North Shore could be getting another new complex.

The Steelers and Walnut Capital have proposed a $30 million mixed-use development to be built in the parking lot across from Acrisure Stadium and the Carnegie Science Center.

According to a grant application, the project would allow two local companies to expand their headquarters, as well as include space for new retail and parking.

It's just the latest in a number of developments in the neighborhood.

The Pirates plan to build a 30,000 square foot plaza that includes a video board and bar and restaurant space.

In the Manchester neighborhood, a large Esplanade is planned along the Ohio River.
