A Pittsburgh area arcade and bar has decided to declare “game over” and close for good.
Baxter’s R-Cade at Southpointe in Canonsburg announced Tuesday it is no longer in business, calling the decision to close “difficult.”
“We are deeply grateful for your patronage, and for everyone who shared a great experience here over the years,” the owners wrote in Facebook.
In addition to a full bar and menu, Baxter’s offered retro arcade games, along with bocce ball, virtual golf, shuffleboard and more.
Baxter’s officially opened in early October 2024.
