A Beaver County man is facing federal robbery charges. Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania Stephen Kaufman made the announcement this week.
Christopher Mangelli of Koppel was indicted on charges of Hobbs Robbery Act and Bank Robbery.
The 36-year-old is accused of robbing a Kwik Fill convenience store on August 30 of last year, making off with $117.
He is also accused of robbing the Huntington Bank in New Brighton, getting away with more than $1,400.
Mangelli faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine if convicted.
The FBI and the Cranberry Township Police Department conducted the investigation in the case.
