PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — Dating back to Feb. 12, Beaver Falls Police reported a typical traffic stop that ended around the intersection of 11th Street and 1st Avenue in Beaver Falls City, but it turned into a pursuit.
A Pennsylvania state police officer attempted to pull over an individual for a broken registration light on their 2003 Acura at around 7 p.m. that night.
The motorist, however, did not stop for another quarter of a mile.
The vehicle finally stopped at the intersection mentioned above before the driver bolted and ran into the woods.
Police are waiting for lab results, and the situation is still under investigation.
