A mobile brewing truck has been ordered closed by the Allegheny Health Department for violations and a Pizza place in Bloomfield has been hit with a consumer alert.
According to the ACHD's website The Levity Brewing Co. truck, operating at the Southside Works Dog Park on Tunnel Boulevard was operating with a lack of potable water and was "utilizing a non-potable water source for water supply."
The truck was ordered closed on Sunday and hasn't been removed.
Mia Pizza in Bloomfield was hit with an alert on Tuesday.
The Health Department says employees were displaying improper personal hygiene, cleaning surfaces were not properly cleaned and sanitized, handwashing areas were broken, "lack of pest management", foods were not dated, lack of a certified food protection manager, not holding foods at the proper temperatures, "malfunctioning Facilities to Maintain food Temperatures, and failure to use Probe-Type Thermometers to monitor food temperatures."
As of Wednesday, the pizzeria on Baum Boulevard was still under the alert.
