A local animal shelter is asking for help after a container full of abandoned puppies was found in a Walmart parking lot.
Action for Animals Humane Society said Monday on Facebook they are looking for anyone who may have witnessed anyone leaving the dogs in the parking lot.
They’ve also asked Walmart to inspect their camera footage.
“These poor pups wouldn't last long out in the heat thankfully they are safe at the shelter,” the Shelter said, mentioning they are now at full capacity.
While the puppies have to be medically cleared before they can go up for adoption, you can help.
The shelter says they are always in need of Purina Puppy Chow (blue bag).
