Local television personality Boaz Frankel is signing off from KDKA-TV.
A staple on Pittsburgh Today Live and Talk Pittsburgh, the lifestyle reporter has announced he is moving with his family to Canada.
He moved to Pittsburgh from Amsterdam in 2019 and has been with KDKA-TV since 2023.
“We’ll always love Pittsburgh,” Boaz said while making an announcement on Pittsburgh Today Live, calling it “bittersweet.”
“It feels exciting, it feels like every couple of years you gotta challenge yourself and do something scary,” added Frankel.
Boaz’s last day on KDKA-TV is today, Monday, August 24.
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Boaz has been involved in several projects over his career, including serving as the curator of The Kazoo Museum in South Carolina!
