Police recovered a body found in the Allegheny River Tuesday afternoon.
The remains were found near 300 Waterfront Drive in Washington’s Landing around 12:30 p.m.
River Rescue pulled the body of a male in his 20s out of the water, He was pronounced dead on the scene by medics.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of death.
