PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) An investigation is open after a body was pulled from the Allegheny River in the Plum neighborhood.
Homicide detectives have initiated the investigation.
Allegheny County Police were called to a body floating in the river around the 100 block of Coxcomb Hill Road around 10:00 a.m.
When first responders arrived to the scene they found a middle-aged white male in the river, his identity was not released.
The body was found due to the rising of waters in creeks and rivers as rains from Hurricane Ida reach the Pittsburgh area.
