Pittsburgh police are investigating after a man's body was found in a stairwell of a secure apartment building in Downtown Pittsburgh just before noon Wednesday
Police say video from inside the building shows the man entering the stairwell on the 19th floor where he experienced some kind of trauma.
Police spokesperson Emily Bourne says the stairwell has a number of pipes that intersect and as the man fell, some of his appendages detached from his torso.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the death is not suspicious.
