A man’s body that was found in the Youghiogheny River earlier this month has been identified.
Fayette County Coroner Dr. Bob Baker has the man has been identified at 42-year-old William Guidi of Somerset.
Dr. Baker says a preliminary autopsy “is leaning toward accidental drowning” but is still pending toxicology reports.
Guidi’s body was identified through rapid DNA testing and finger print analysis.
Dr. Baker is asking the community keep Guidi’s family in your thoughts and prayer and thanks everyone to helped to identify him.
